About Us
Kirsti brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the field of psychological well-being within the superyacht industry. With 12 years of hands-on experience aboard superyachts, Kirsti has a deep understanding of the unique challenges and demands faced by crew members.
In her early days on yachts, Kirsti utilized her background in psychology and well-being by serving as a massage therapist for both crew and guests, and as a nanny for the owner’s special needs children. As her career progressed, she took on the role of chief stewardess, gaining further insights into the dynamics of life at sea.
Kirsti's academic credentials are impressive, holding a Bachelor of Science in Psychology (First Class Honours) and a Master of Science in Consciousness, Spirituality, and Transpersonal Psychology (with Distinction). She has had her research published in a peer-reviewed journal and is a member of the editorial board for a peer-reviewed journal for Transpersonal Psychology Coaching. She integrates her robust academic background with practical vocational skills in coaching, mindfulness meditation, and yoga, offering a holistic approach to enhancing the psychological well-being of yacht crew.
Kirsti and her team are committed to supporting yacht crew without providing clinical mental illness services. Her approach is proactive, focusing on preventing issues before they arise and enhancing the overall psychological well-being of the crew.
